  7. The QDS Fire Alert is designed to handle data necessary for the proper
  8. reporting to the National Fire Information Council.  The software facilitates
  9. inputting to five main files:  Fire incidents:  consists of silent alarms as
  10. well as regular alarms.  Fireman data:  contains Fireman's number, incident
  11. data, meeting attendance, drill attendance, and statistics.  Equipment
  12. information:  keeps track of equipment and usage by incident.  Log of
  13. meetings:  lists dates, times, and attendance of meetings.  Important drill
  14. data:  contains a list of who attended and the times of each drill.  Features
  15. of Fire Alert include:  add/delete/inquire information to the main files;
  16. statistical reports of firemen at drills, and fires (both silent alarm and
  17. regular alarms); reporting to the National Fire Information Council;
  18. ``After-the-fact'' inputting of equipment and firemen at each incident; comes
  19. with optional Maryland ``fire codes'' preprogrammed in software; prints labels
  20. for fireman mail outs; interactive capability for full-screen prompting;
  21. available in single-user or multi-user environments.
